MUMBAI /BANKING – ENGINEERING /FULL-TIME
Zeta intends to replace many legacy systems in use by banks for processing payments. Banks need to leapfrog into an era of connected devices and omnipresent commerce. Banking should become an integral part of the commerce and enterprise systems, thereby enabling seamless consumer and business transactions. The average number of interactions an account holder may have with a bank would increase to 12-15 per day in the near term from the current average of 3-4 transactions per month. These could grow to an unimaginably large number in future. Most banking systems aren’t designed for this scale. In many ways, these systems are limiting the imagination of possibilities. We want this changed fundamentally, in an inter-operable and regulatory compliant manner.
We build large-scale transaction processing systems that can work with many current and future payment networks. We build applications that help banks realize the value of this new approach early. We help banks to rapidly deliver the value of these applications to their customers.
What is the Job like?
Central POC for Zeta’s various Product Implementations, Delivery and technology partners for end-to-end project implementation, UAT and subsequent Production related issues
Manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
Plan, develop and execute schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones
Ensure timely and accurate communication with project sponsor and project stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project
Regular communication and status to management team
Monitor and manage priority for deliverables in a capacity based methodology
Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work (requires extensive follow-up & coordination)
Detailed project planning and control
Managing project deliverables, project scope and change control in line with the project plan
Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
Prioritizing project goals with other ongoing projects
Who should apply?
Alteast 8 years of Program Management experience
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of planning and project delivery
Very flexible and with a strong ability to see what needs done, take ownership and act on it without detailed supervision
Experience working with project management and prioritization tools
Strong leadership, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships
Strong hands-on experience on any project management tools like JIRA etc.
Must possess strong oral and written communications skills and be effective in interpersonal communication
Highly organized and able to manage multiple work-streams at the same time
Combines creativity, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude to overcome any obstacle
Rigorous - asks hard questions, validates assumptions, connects the dots
Ability to drive change in a technical work environment
