EWS Reservation Certificate
As you are already aware of that recently a very beneficial scheme has been released by the Government, under which the people of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) coming under General category will get a Reserved Quota of 10% in Central / State Govt Jobs and Education.
Now, let's dive into the details.
Eligibility to get EWS Certificate
- You should be a General Candidate.
- Family Income should be less than 8 lakhs.
- Family's Agricultural Land Area should be less than 5 Acres.
- Family's Residential Flat Area should be less than 1000 sq.ft
- Family's Residential Plot Area should be less than 100 sq.yards (Notified Municipalities)
- Family's Residential Plot Area should be less than 200 sq.yards (Other than the notified municipalities)
Documents Required for EWS Certificate
- Aadhaar Card (mandatory)
- Income Certificate (mandatory)
- Pan Card (mandatory)
- Caste Certificate
- Bank Statement
- Recent Passport size photo
How to Apply for EWS Certificate?
Let me tell you that no online method has been implemented yet to apply for the EWS Reservation. To apply for this certification you will have to adopt the offline method in any of the two ways below:-
- You can contact your Local Govt. Authority (Tehsil). However, it may take a lot of time.
- You can contact an Agent in Jan Sewa Kendra (CSC) nearby your location. In this way, your work will be done faster, because of their good link in Tehsil.
I will suggest you contact an Agent. If you go to your local Common Service Center (CSC) and ask for the agent, then it will be better and you will get the certificate soon.
- You can go to Google search and find your nearest CSC.
- Go there, and submit your required documents.
- They will fill the EWS Certificate Form and do the entire work for you.
- After that, wait for a month and you will get your EWS Certificate.
